Unpopular opinion but putting the changes to the art aside… the flashback scene was way better in the TV version then the blu ray. The blu ray the pacing was just off..it unsettles me. Sometimes less is more and it was definitely the case with this scene. The weight was stronger

Wife finished reading through Sanji`s story arc in the One Piece Manga.
Her thoughts: Sanji & Zeff`s flashback made her cry for the 1st time in the series. Sanji is her favorite character at this point. "A cool guy who can cook!" Luffy`s also growing on her more w/ each arc.
