Definitely a cell shader. I started off as an air brusher but it didn’t look sharp enough for me. https://t.co/DSKnpW3e5m
@xeno_toast I do very minimal shading overall (mostly just what's required to make the art look less.. flimsy ig?)
But I like to use "blocky gradients" where I layer a lot of segments of cell shading to get a slight blending effect! It's most visible in the eyes I think
@xeno_toast sometimes airbrush, sometimes cell shading, sometimes both, it really depends
You used to stalk me on your cell phone

@xeno_toast Sometimes I use cell and sometimes I use airbrush. I do lean more in on cell shading though

I'm still trying to solid my style, because they're from several artist I admire so I combine them.
Style A have more styled and altered the color, with heavy ink. with cell shade color.
Style B more close to original for color and look more brushes so look more detailed.
@xeno_toast I typically do airbrush, but cell when it feels right
I also use the brush tool in SAI (different from airbrush) for skin textures/more realistic
@xeno_toast im a dirty blend tool user 😈
(but I also dabble in cell shading from time to time)
@xeno_toast Mix of cell shading and soft shading for me! I mostly only use cell shading for my cat art though!
@xeno_toast Mostly cell it just works better for my style. I’ve been tempted to try other styles lately though.
