Soon realizing there was no way in hell it was going to release in any sort of reasonable timeframe, they started working on an NES-tier side game that would come out first. Eventually winding up on the Super Nintendo but being somewhat basic, was Lufia & the Fortress of Doom.

The game is still graphically impressive for the system like its predecessor, but it overall feels mediocre as a game by itself. Seeing as this was a late-release NES title (it came out in 1993 in the US, AFTER the original show finished its run!), it's obvious... (19/?)

Entry for the man that is mega, & much like Mega Man 4 it feels a bit safe, albeit still enjoyable.

I felt the weapons were definitely the weakest thus far, but there's some really neat stages this time around, namely Gravity Man & Charge Man's stages.

Played though Blaster Master Zero over the past week. Not a bad experience if you just want a love letter to a beloved classic NES game, with mindless but satisfying NES grinding to match. But if you want a game with modern quality map and encounter design, then look elsewhere.
