The Colorize feature in the updated clip studio is Pretty Cool imo!
Obviously requires tweaking and more cleanup but I do like the soft effect it generates.

my first attempt with a different sketch was not quite what I wanted because I didn't know what to do, but I made a cool pic out of it anyway.
1 is the sketch with rough colors
2 colorized version, 3 same but inverted
4 is a different attempt to colorize.

It's a mix of pencil and paper for "organic" sketches (rocks, mushroom, ...) and 3D modeling for stuffs made by man (houses, furnitures, ...).
Then all is merged, detailed and colorized in a photoshop-like soft.
