Shutumon name came from Shutu, the Sumerian God of the South Wind.
Shutu is also the God of Illness.
Her attack, Gilgamesh Slicer, came from the Legendary Sumerian King, Gilgamesh.
Her name in the dub is Zephyrmon, from Zephyr, the west wind.
