I was lying on my bed when the thought of doing ColorRamp node on a B/W image is on my mind and yes, I gave it a try on skin materials (esp. the neck).

@BryanCetroni I wouldn't say I've done a lot of iso, but enough that I've landed on a method that works for me. Digital art tools that have isometric grids included (and adjustable) make creating isometric maps so much more fun to me.
1/ There's been a lot of debate over the legitimacy of projects that require whitelist grinds, and whether that is the lesser of two evils (compared to the good ol' gas wars of 2021).
IMO, the @creco_xyz project has an entertaining method for WL and is an absolute sleeper. 🧵👇

Masked owl is looking better. I tested a feather method. I once worked with the fx guy on shadow of the colossus and there was a clever billboard method used for the giant's fur. Now trying out the hair particles, some feathers in this would be a great combo.

big eyes don't technically always fit inside the head, and that's okay
Stylized eyes like 90% of the time don't make sense as spheres, this method really only works perfectly for faces with more realistically sized/styled eyes 🤪
