I just talked about it just moments ago but Id like to show that I may have found the reason I find my art flat, & its because of too thin lines & lack of thickness variation to convey both volume and shadows. (1/2)

*someday in 2011*
16 y/o Shelly: "Why can't I draw muscular men?"
*10 years and a Mortal Kombat fandom later...*
26 y/o Shelly: "shit, how did i draw thin men?"

(The MK fandom marked me for life(?))

Went through the same experience with my persona, Solaris. Originally a thin, androgynous person. Now shes a chubby bear named Teddy that reflects me a lot more.

love yourself, you shouldn't be ranked differently because of what your body type is or what the amount of fat and muscle you have in your body
you're a person and that is what's supposed to matter, wheneve you're slim, curvy, fat, muscular, thin or anything more out there
