I think I’ve mentioned it before that my initial idea with Himiko was to build a horrible character out of fanon Shou tropes, but it just struck me that if Himiko is fanon Shou but worse, then Satsune is fanon Ritsu but worse.

(also I love Satsune’s hair, it’s so versatile)

I feel Cinnabun was due a redesign to make her look less plain. Another reason was because she started as a Dangan Ronpa OC years before V3 came out and her SHSL was Witch.
And of course there's Himiko who is SHSL Magician so I didn't want people to think Cinnabun was a rip off.
