TO MY KNOWLEDGE there is no way to uncook the textures currently. I believe the only way for this to happen is for Steel Wool to patch the game with the 4k textures. this same "cooked" thing applies to most of the other textures as well.

also the "blood" was there on at least vanny before, just too low res to see

The only character who 100% kept their textures from the previous update was "The Blob". their texture remains completely unchanged. they most likely will be continuing these visual improvement updates with the rest of the characters. but yeah this patch was the best thing ever.
