Feb 25 1880 the #Resurgam #submarine foundered in off North #Wales. The sub was built in #1879 by George Garrett & was being taken to #Pompey to be shown to the #RoyalNavy. The sad remains of the #Resurgam now lie neglected on the seabed off Rhyl, rapidly turning into rust.
