i made a quick colourpicked background after drawing him. wasn't sure what face to give him. Left one was his original one before i made the background. Face 2#'s probably more appropriate cause he'd be way too high up for him to land safely back onto the baseplate.

More scenes. The siblings meet their new Sturgian companions. ❄

This in-game faction seems to be inspired by Kievan Rus (and some Norse) culture. I've used a painting of Olga of Kiev and an embroidered cloth called Nabozhnyk in the background.

Process for the "Tropical" background. As you can see, the general shapes and composition of each plane were changed quite a bit. That poor palm tree got chopped and replanted closer to the camera. It's ok to change your mind if something isn't working out 🙂

My D&D bard, Oscar. Pictured at the Indigo Gardens, his late grandfather's estate. Flowers are a big theme in his family line, and their coat of arms is a purple violet on a yellow background.🌻

Done before I was ill, Disney Villain groups and single portraits will ' be an ongoing series, as will the Kingdom Hearts image. The Retro Gaming character image works fine as is but I’m planning a better background.

Step by step: shiny oc Eevee commission 🐾

The last step consists in detailing the textures, putting the fur behind the base colour layer, adjusting the tint according to the background.

quietly obsessed by this Chris Bachalo panel - the contrast between the handdrawn flowers in the foreground and the photograph of roses in the frame in the background. magnificent

Being a Taiko drummer, sometimes you gotta sell yourself a little with a nice suit to do festivals and events~ 🤭

As for the sky background... well I felt like doing one. 😇😉
