Oh yeah, the image changes between two images, one for day and one for night. made a lot of the day image first and I did my subtle additions to that, leading to the night side, which shows more of my drawing, with a lot of interactions with the other side

Some comments I received from and were to 1) go for a subtler approach (less physical, as the problem is a complex economical one) and 2) to put more emphasis on the farmers. Compare first sketch to final. I'm happy with what we ended up with!
