Last Painting I did for class. Subject matter is type 1 diabetes. Fucked up a bit on the perspective of the table...few other things I’m not happy with. But I ran out of time lol

Done in acrylic.

'Sufferer' 12"x12" acrylic. I feel like I just have a running series based off my illness now, haha. Painting pictures about it helps me deal with it a little though, and to share it. Also its been awhile since Ive painted mushrooms! They are weird little guys, arent they?

Happy Valentine’s Day!
Here’s a sort of Valentine’s Day themed piece (there are hearts in the background so it counts)

I painted a red tailed black cockatoo, one of my favorite cockatoos. The background is made from a technique called "gelli printing," and the bird is acrylic.

Worked on this some more last night. Still have much more to do, but here’s where it’s at now. Starting to come together, but I do feel rusty with acrylic.

In Your Head

Went to a local paint lounge and tried out some acrylic. Man I don’t know what I’m doing but it still turned out awesome. Lol.

Portrait night at studios. Always trying new materials and/or methods: painting on Claybord this time. With oils, it absorbs so aggressively that it's more like painting with acrylic. But without the drying in-brush or on the palette. Quite difficult to blend though.
