When I lived in Tokyo I took up the tradition of sending a new year postcard. 2019 is the year of the pig (in Japan it's the boar). In the old days they called wild boars "mountain whales". Even now young boars are called "melon boy" cuz they have stripes like a melon until age 1

(2/4) I love seeing how various artists have depicted fire in this set, and this piece doesn't disappoint. It helps add depth and menace to Domri's end raze boars and I love the distortion of the brush strokes on the fire and the fur in the lower third. Also excellent posing.
