and just to expand on that, aside from knuckles' honesty and heart, I feel sonic also just admires knuckles' ability to change so transparently and sincerely—acknowledging one's own mistakes. it's not everyday a hero like sonic comes across a person (once enemy) like knuckles.

Beat Sonic Rush Adventure 3 DX Directors Cut & No Knuckles. "Objectively," the 1st game's a bit better, but I personally am more nostalgic for Adventure. Missions & hidden levels make it more replayable than Rush. I miss Marine. Next, Sonic ColorsDS, AKA the version with Knuckles
