my first finished "environment" from school (2017), which was basically just figuring out how to make boxes and snap them and texture, and then my latest prop (2020)! I wish I had pictures of my first finished mesh from my character class :,(

I Started 3D in 2019 and surely it's been a cool ride and an Everest to learn. First two images are from 2019 and the last two are my recent arts.

Keep Learning!!!

Started in February in earnest. Hard to believe this is the same character. (I'm even going to give him better ears and eyes soon!) It's quite a journey! On top of that my programming skills have gone up at least .2 points since then!

2007 vs 2020 - My VERY FIRST digital artwork vs my latest one. Drawn in good old MS paint, I was so proud of all those squiggly lines! Never would have believed you if you had told me 13 years on I would be pursuing art as a career 😭

Sometimes I think I haven't progressed at all, then doing these challenges reminds me I am progressing and learning.🌺✨

I think I'm so proud of all the stuff I can do now. I still need to improve a lot but I'm for sure making progress ♥

End of first year of uni (2018) vs. last year of uni (2020): 😆🎨
Needless to say, I have not learned 90% of what I know at uni :') God. I think I >PAINTED those normals on in 2018. IN 3d COAT. Baking? Who was she? :D And please send a prayer for her thigh gap.

difficult to do the same thing with game design, because:
1) my aesthetics bounce all over the place
2) i work with other folks a lot of the time and it's hard to take a screenshot that's 100% my work

that said, here's a 2016 3d exploration game vs a 2020 one

An old gem I found from when I first started doing digital art! This is progress between 2013 VS 2019, so about 6 years apart. :)
