@ubermus @latgih Look more attractively at the cape. The pattern is different. Also, with Vennessa he has bows on the sides on the shorts and no vision. His front bow is a bit different too, without a yellow line
With the old lyre and with Aether it's a little different. Details are the key here
Also Venti was dressed a bit differently during Vennessa's time (the cape, the bows on the sides)
In the pic with the old lyre Venti wears other clothes: the same he's wearing when talking with Aether. So he's shown not during Venessa's time but during the episode with Aether
Time frame
Aether in the manga isn't the Aether at the start of the game because:
1) there's no Paimon who shows us that we see the Traveler
2) Venti has his old lyre "der Himmel" (pic 1). Now he uses another lyre "der Frühling" (pic 2). His old lyre is now kept in the church.
