He has everything I usually hate in a Pokémon design and then makes it work amazingly

I think it's because it still retains a lot of "monster" elements despite being very humanoid

THIS IS A JOKE and I by and large like the model but kind of wish they were more snarly and less puppy, something I feel rings true for the worgen remodels as well.

I wish they resembled their HS art a bit more! Wild dog eyes, more topheavy / less worgeny, smaller ears.
