my pitch for a heartcatch sequel series where tsubomi's sister becomes a precure and tsubomi takes on the role of her mentor 😤 toei please return my calls #precure
So the focus of this blog was to show how the many different branches of the series by the many different companies and staff (From Bandai, Shueisha, Toei, and more) understood the series, it really isn't as solid as some fans think that it's, it's much more nuanced.
I didn’t know Kamen Rider Geats was gonna be a Kitsune fox themed Kamen Rider back when I was designing my look but it is ironic that we share design aspects NOW. (Please don’t sue me Toei I’m begging you 😭)

So basically toei just saw faiz design and like "What if we make it fox like" and bang, Geats exist now
One of the things I really wanna see is a financial report from Toei really describing how well Digimon Ghost Game is doing.
I think the outcome of this season will really give us an idea of Digimon's next steps going forward.
@GoatedDesign Nothing beats Toei Sonic or Tyson Hesse. He looks the best imitating classic cartoon characters like Felix the cat imo, part of his design inspiration

@ryuuseipro Yes. Actually, it is said Toei Animation first had an idea of making Maou Dante 魔王ダンテ a TV anime by having Nagai change the lead character into what looks more like a hero. So Dante is the prototype of Devilman!

Toei has many flaws when it comes to adapting anime. But one of the strongest examples, is this expression of "empty victory" of Goku just after he killed Frieza. That face was changed to just "rage" in the anime and thus taking away a lot of the weight that this moment brings.
@t_unmasked I find it interesting that Toei repurposed this image for Venus. It will always remind me of Super Sailor Venus and makes her stand out compared to the others which seem to use the season 1 laser disc art as a base.
