SNと事件簿が正史な以上、UBWのエピローグ時点でⅡ世は『事件簿』での一連の事件を経てる。
そこから数年後に『冒険』が始まる訳だけど、聖杯戦争の経験者、そして内弟子と遠からず縁のある士郎と問答を交わすってのが"""至高"""なんだわ

Finished my UBW reread.

Man, this story will always have a special place in my heart. It comforts and satisfies me in all the right ways and I’ll always be grateful for it. I love Fate so much.

Despite what I’ve said today about ufotable and their TM adaptations. I really do love the UBW anime they made.

It’s VERY flawed, especially if you’ve read the VN but it’s still one of TM’s better adaptations imo.

UBW’s true ending and the epilogue from the anime together really does make my favorite conclusion to any story I’ve ever experienced.

I think about every now and then because it just satisfies me in all the right ways.

In Fate is reuniting with Saber in Avalon after living his life pursuing utopia. In UBW, recognizing his limits and the value of his own life allows him to get a "happily ever after" with Rin. And HF Shirou lives happily by putting himself and his loved ones above anything else.

You may like or may not like them together, but objectively Rin is the best girl for Shirou
The routes' endings speak for themselves and the main battle within Shirou's ideals isn't UBW for nothing...

I really do think that ending up with Rin would be the best thing for him

+ I chose the middle option, which just takes you home & then you call Rin (WHOLESOME AF TOO THO). However, when I finished the UBW route I went to the gallery and noticed how I was missing THIS CG and I couldn't even figure out where it fit... DAMN I WAS REALLY MAD +
