cordelia and alastair used to be white when the last hours was still in it's early stages, cassie changed their ethnicity later on!! it's not rlly whitewashing because at the time this was designed, they were still white characters.

Got accused of whitewashing the other day, ignored the initial comment on insta but I wanna state:
I drew a biracial Indian girl, desaturated her skin tone to fit my palette. In the future I'll darken her skin, but otherwise I feel comfortable to say I didn't draw her white.

They can't do complex shading in an anime lest the ruin the damn style. It's like my art style, where you do simple shading and then affect shading on a single color base.
