Letitia Marion Hamilton (1875-1964) The Rock of Cashel (n.d.). Hamilton was internationally exhibited and was a founding member of the Dublin Society of Painters along with Mary Swanzy, Jack B. Yeats and Paul Henry. Widely travelled; she depicted many European rural scenes.

Jack B. Yeats (1871-1957) The Swinford Funeral (1918). After a 1915 nervous breakdown that lasted two years Yeats began to find his form with paintings of Irish life, in an country that was changing irrevocably. He had anti-treaty political leanings; opposite to his brother W.B.
