Elfmania. It runs fine on an A500, but is one of those Amiga games that looks so pretty that I have to remind myself that it's not AGA graphics. Quite a basic fighting game, in that all moves are accessed from the four basic directions. But this makes is quite accessible too. 👍

最近色々と忙しくあまりプレイ出来ていないのですが、AGA生存報告ツイを。

個人的に全身専用装備が普段使いし難かったくるくる先輩なのですが、しほっち先輩のボトムス装備させてあげたら、マルチビームで雑魚散らしが楽になり中々快適に♪

専用装備が使い難いと思っている方におすすめ構成かも？

Yup. AGA was already a compromised upgrade. IMHO it needed better sound, and faster ChipRAM and a chunky 256 colour mode would have vastly expanded its capabilities. Heck, a High-Density Floppy Drive.. better (or any?) CD-ROM support.. There was so much that could have been done.

It's probably good that it died when it did. We can enjoy the brilliant ECS and AGA stuff that happened, without having to look at further unsatisfactory attempts at evolving it into something that would inevitably be mediocre, due to rather questionable management. (all IMHO) 😁

I've got both the DOS and Amiga versions of it. It's the usual deal with pre-AGA Amiga stuff, where it feels like the graphics were designed for the full VGA colour palette, and cut down to 32 colours for the Amiga port. But both look good, all the same.

I really loved the Pinball Dream/Fantasies/Illusions games on the old Amiga — and Slam Tilt too, of course. 😁 Illusions got the physics of the ball about right, IMHO, and a bit of animation on the bumpers together with a full AGA colour palette made everything feel more real. 👍
