Goofy asks Naminé if she can put back Riku's memory, just as she said she could do for them, but Naminé seems to imply this was unfortunately out of the question in his case.
Before she can say anything more, Repliku turns to walk away. They needn't worry about a fake like him.

Naminé is touched by his sincerity. Sora boasts Marluxia is no match regardless. Tho uncertain at first, D&G quickly show their support, proclaiming they'll be there to help Sora remember.

Too fearful to make a move, Naminé can only hope for the best for Sora and his friends, and for herself.
Axel insinuates /some/ connection between himself and Sora without divulging it, but fights him all the same.

Axel doesn't think much of this trick, until Marluxia reveals the ace up his sleeve: Sora.
Axel lays bare the irony that Sora is acting just as Marluxia wants him to, but Sora only retorts Marluxia won't have mastery over him in the end, not while he's a threat to Naminé, too.

"Vanish, fake!!"
Naminé tightens momentarily as tho internally pained...and then she MAKES him stop.
A flash—Repliku collapses, expressionless.

Sora & "Riku" clash for a 4th time, & once more the latter loses the battle, collapsing to the ground. His Keyblade dismissed, Sora moves in to reach out to him, only to be blasted back by "Riku" who intends to finish the job. Naminé watches in terror as he stalks over to Sora.

"Naminé!" he calls. "My (俺の) important person (大切な人)... It's not you, right?"
"No," she responds sadly, "Your (ソラの) 大切な人, the one you were always together with… It's not me. It's her/that person (あの人)."

The scenery returns to a peaceful day. Sora ponders over this familiar/dear/nostalgic (懐かしい) person he doesn't remember. He realizes Naminé is gone, & calls out to her.

"It's too late," she despairs.
Is it? By inserting herself into that *promise,* was that the tipping point? Did she go too far?
