I wouldn't say they are chibi like, the sprites are anatomically accurate to there card art, but the devs definitely take liberties to fix certain aspects of design to a degree so it looks better during animation which I highly approve of.

These days I have been noticing that with my "old" artstyle I was focusing too much in 'looking pretty' and 'anatomically correct' that I had been forgetting to give movement and emotion to. I hope that with this simplification I get a better result
