It’s cool to see progress with my art especially comparing the same character
#DnDcharacter #fantasyart
dont feel like comparing w new art but since ppl are posting 2012 art i remembered this piece i did then and i was so proud of this lol
2019 / 2022
I know I have a lot to improve... But I really, really practice a lot, study a lot and set goals 🥹✨
I feel that constructively comparing myself with artists I love has helped me a lot, and I hope to be as good as them one day 💖

#SkillNotTalent 2021 vs 2022
Comparing these two I now realise how much did my art style change within one year period o.O shame I don't have older works saved. I would like to compare them to newest now 🤔 #xiao
Oldest art i could find rn... couldnt find anything older rn ... > 3 >
2014?? vs 2022 kinda fun comparing old arts tho.. o 3 o..

2012 vs 2022
When you keep comparing yourself to the ones inspiring you to be better, it feels good to notice you would have been an inspiration for your younger self.

comparing art from 2018 to now hurts (the last 2 are from now bc one wasnt shaded but it was a holiday parallel and compares my old & current holiday art taste)
mostly it hurts bc all i drew was cookie run and very few are full images bc i hated fullbody works with a passion

I love this trend! My favorite pass time is comparing my art through the years! #SkillNotTalent
2018 vs 2022
Something I have to tell myself, and especially when I find myself comparing others artists to me, is that it's not a matter of talent but rather how much effort and time you dedicate yourself to the craft. #SkillNotTalent
comparing my webcomic covers.... 02/22 vs 12/22
2019 vs 2022
Comparing both of these is definitely a good reminder for me to stop overthinking things and just keeping going 🥲 #SkillNotTalent
Comparing my first art post (May) with one of my most recent (November)! Sometimes I feel like I haven’t improved at all but it’s still very fun to draw these silly teenagers with virtual worlds :D https://t.co/0biVW6WH0z
Comparing the posture of each one implied that some of them knew something about this matter.
comparing two pretty different pieces, but thought i'd chip in for the #SkillNotTalent tag
the first one's from around 2018-2019? and the second one is from a few months ago. nice to see i'm actually getting better at using colour.
#SkillNotTalent it always feels rewarding comparing the initial sketch on paper to the finished ver! https://t.co/LFHatpv6Vq
2020 ---> 2022
Comparing chibis & portraits! https://t.co/sl4aAScP2U

[not an entry just comparing the old and new character sheets, I liked the 3rd pic the most. 5 month improvement hell yeah]
This is the best drawing I’ve done of Ivan’s facial proportions xD Maybe I should have art blocks more often if I come out of them able to draw my own ocs 10x better lol.
Comparing it to the last headshot I did of him (and omg the first) is wild
(Comparison in next tweet 🔽)
