What I did change is his eye shape and colour, added eyebrows, his wing shape, his beak composition, I gave him legs, I changed his tail and Faynag in my lore is made out of ink, so he's a drippy boi. I hope that my design is a good balance of respecting the original while 4/5

I did this piece years ago, but it's been on mind. Something happened with it that really led me to finding my style of chaotic whimsy.. Even tho there's some wonkiness in the composition, I'm still very fond of it

Sometimes it feels like I'm stuck and my art isn't improving but then I look back and see this 6 month glow up.

LEFT took 3 weeks to complete. I was taking a course and the instructor walked me through the whole process of choosing colours, composition, etc.

RIGHT took 1.5 days

I think the ones I am most proud of would be these two! Painted almost a year apart from each other but each marked a new step forward in how I thought about composition, materials, feeling of the piece (even if I can see the mistakes now 😂)
