I used the artbreeder website, a machine learning tool to create Nemari's realistic face from a database, but as the tool at its limits the hair and earrings were left up to my editing.

You can still have talent and choose to do wig/makeup test or casual version of a character just for fun! Not every photo can have a detailed costume and composite editing. It shouldn't matter whether something is a "real cosplay" or not as long as you enjoy it.

I know exactly how you feel about gimmicks. You gotta balance what sounds fun to you and what people might get into. It's very passion-driven.

As for an intro/outro, I would recommend a bit of video editing. That's what I did for an outro. Intro is just a simple 'starting soon'
