Skintone can change by various factors like light and whether they are in natural light or artificial light, etc. Even in the show, the skintone constantly changes when they are in a new environment with different light conditions. ⬇️

I'm going to use some Artfight, art trade, comm (watermark lol), and other stuff here but colorpicking is how I stayed true to skintones here without lightening them or guessing.

This isnt a "lighter pastel color" it's a characters skintone, if you're not skilled or knowledgeable enough to draw dark skinned characters don't accept the commission. It's not an insult to the artist it's an issue for the customer, it's racist lmao?

Made another version with a more accurate skintone. Literally just add another wash of colour over the whole peice if the colours arent cohesive enough. If you can't draw darker skintones you shouldn't do commisions.
