Another #AugustAdipose! I saw this still from Emma. and was intrigued by the lighting. Wanted to try a similar pose with different MCs. This was a good lesson that I need more practice lighting darker skin. My fave part of monthly challenges are the moments of actual challenge.

I thought this logo was particularly hard and initially I didn't know how the AI was going to do it, but it ended up with the interpretation that the white of the logo represented lighting. Brilliant!

This was originally posted on Friday the 13th. IIRC at the time, I was making conscious efforts to post at least a doodle of Tohnii every Friday for Fat Tail Fridays... Something Different other than the usual fanservice I posted. I still really enjoy the lighting.

I tried to make a hot sun effect! I both like and dislike the result. In turn. But rather like it! I think this can be called progress in lighting.
For the base colors, I avoided using the exact colors from my characters’ reference sheets, and instead chose shades that more closely matched the local lighting.
