2017 vs. 2020 💜
I sold this adopt back in 2017 and thought it'd be really fun to partially redo it, because I'm still proud of the linework.
The owner is aware, ofc
Character owned by Peter Boag

Spent the better part of the day on this, digitised version of my previous sketch. I wanted to experiment so I tried doing angular linework. Included colour and black and white versions.

Uekawa's AWESOME 2000s work on Sonic.

It's like all those thicklines plus the loose poses and linework. It's just, OH MY GOD I love it

(Plus the boi, the myth, the lordt )

I THOUGHT. I WOULD MAKE THEM SIMPLE. BUT THEN I MADE THE MISTAKE OF ZOOMING IN TO CLEAN UP MY LINEWORK. AND THEN. AND THENNN.

I'M SO TIRED NOW 😭

Version 2 of the Immeldrone image. Cleaned up his boots/feet and tweaked the linework. Also recolored this using Illustrator's Live Paint function. Feedback?

I'm trying to be looser and more expressive with my linework. I think that this might speed things up a lot for the comic.

Also trying to use more hue variation to make my paintings a bit livelier. This won't be implemented for comicking, but definitely for illustration.

Controversial opinion of the day: as much as I despise Kory's first RHATO outfit, Rocafort draws the best starbolts, and really really pretty Kory hair, especially when he's also doing the coloring and not just the linework.

My first time drawing Cipher and trying a new linework.

Hope you like it 💖💖💖💖

And here are my sketches. I usually do a wireframe, scoot it over, do some linework, scoot that over, and do my thick linework.

Despite the salamander part of it’s name a gecko fits his design much better...this is a reminder that I am allowed to experiment. I am allowed to play with styles. I am allowed to not render everything with detailed linework.

Too slow...too many toes 🦶🦶
I had a bit of an epiphany this week, having discovered a way to play with colored linework...so here's a reworking of an older sketch for today, featuring 💙
Happy Friday everyone!

I get inspired by Edo-period Japanese woodblock prints (inspo in next tweet)

Hi, illustrator from Austria here who loves to draw tiny detailed things and lots of linework.

Had some fun & did a turnaround ref sheet for my Biologist character :3
I've been meaning to do this for ages! I want to draw the back of my Tiefling too :3

Also: man I adore linework. Loved re-drawing over her!

Hello!
My name's Kaleb. I love to paint surreal stuff but at the moment it's totally different. I love doing linework. Sometimes with color and sometimes without. Here are a few of my pictures.
So if you're interested in a commission or something else. Pls contact me.

Wimpod! I’m still trying to learn Sketchbook so forgive me for the shorty linework.

And a random "feels good man" Squirtle from 2016.

I still like this one a lot. Nice a clean with minimal linework.
