Shinkawa seems to have this habit of using duplicated and resized lineart as this subtle additional shading or background. Sometimes it is so subtle that you can't even really tell.
It's a thing I try to emulate in my art, but with varying results.

1/2 Hey @EnnaAlouette , as you said you liked the cursor I made, I will share the images with you. Windows and Websites use different methods to implement cursors, so these won't work under Windows without some modifications and additional cursors being made (resize, move, etc)

With the construction in place i could start working on the details. So first with some detailled carvings on the column bases, the abandoned bronze brazier, the lower stairs. Some parts e.g. the front column base I copied and resized to be faster. [12/20]

@tehmondspartan Oh now. Made a rough model with basic colors in ZBrush. Resize in photoshop to Doom-size. Then manually painted in the cast-shadows, and pixel-edited the finer details.

The way I have to resize these after so that they don't get quality crunched like the 2nd image
