More practice of color for shadow on @MasakoX Krillin from his “what if Krillin became a Saiyan” series (awesome series btw). I’m really enjoying this style instead of going completely black for shadows, but I want to effectively combine the 2 techs. In due time with practice.

Flats, shadows, any lighting then lineart above all. Sometimes Lineart gets a clipped layer for colour. This won't be everyone's process but I definitely work at my best being streamlined!

I generate with the AI (midjourney) many parts and shapes that may be interesting, I cut them and prepare them to later make the composition in photoshop. Some overpaint, shadows, lights and that's it. 🙃
took a while but… its done!
i messed around with thicker lines and more intense shadows, so the lineart took up the most time…
for fun, i also tried to make it look like an anime scene! though i got lazy with the background…
