one of my older doodles was actually of mouse doing The Pose, yknow the one, despite my still-limited grasp on perspective and depth

I actually managed to make a lot of art last year that was just for fun, and not work. Fun to do, but also less rewarding in the long term.

I miss the times when my work was fun AND had purpose, but art standards are just too high these days.

it's the year of the ox, so i thought it'd be fitting if i started the year off by drawing my two bull boys!
i was originally gonna draw them doing a cool dynamic action-y pose, but after last year, i decided it'd be better to just let them unwind with a nice warm beverage

Here's my 4 favorite pieces from 2020.
I love the doom suit and pose, i love the anatomy of the 2nd one, i love EVERYTHING about the 3rd one, and i really enjoyed drawing Daisy Duck.

And speaking of Dishonored, I ended up using that boost to retool an older character in a new direction I finally enjoy!

Eliza - previously Rosa - is one of those characters made only to serve a narrative purpose, but then they grow on you. Valid to mistake her for Emily Kaldwin

It's only once every blue moon that I draw something with non generic pose, non generic angle, background, and actually looks good. This has been my favourite drawing so far.
