Yes, get the ideas flowing. Don’t edit the story out while drafting. When feeling stuck, just go on to the next thing that comes to mind. The 1st draft is to get the ideas down, not make it perfect. For all you know, in revisions, that chapter may get cut. Write on ✍🏻

The problem with ref sheets is that despite them always going through several revisions, I always outgrow them stylistically before I finish them. Poor Rocky's sheet was never finished, but here's the most recent, and couple older iterations with the 'avatar outfit.' Eesh, 2015!
