@AstolfoHL 90% of the time it's usually an issue with a lack of ram, whether your PC just doesn't have enough or the mod launcher doesn't *allow* enough ram to be used.
-First can be checked with Task Manager
-Latter is through the Mod Launcher settings (Might need offline Java x64)

I love how easy it is to just make artwork look how I want. I used to have to spend ages messing with brush settings and layer overlays.
