Another thing i noticed is that even my value-planning looks fine, it doesnt look like a jumbled mess like it usually does XD

Normally id slam values/colors everywhere and then correct it after. Now i dont need to spend as much time fixing my sloppy messes! Haha.

So I'm spending the day "fixing" my style because even though I'm good at realism I think its pretty boring, I just naturally tend to end up there because I'm a very methodical robot painter.

Do you other artists have to deal with this or am I weird?

I just felt like (re?)posting this two unfinished goblins in need of fixing and repainting. I hope to have more things done in 2021, more gobs drawn and painted, and less horribly botched other eyes. 2021 is therefore going to be the year of eyepatches!
