One thing I really like doing is having subtle changes to time of day through out the comic, or having the entire comic slowly change colour over time as we transition to different scenarios.

Forgot to post the second side of this piece haha. There are 8 full page spread pieces for this special chapter 🥰 I really like how a lot of subtle details (like eyelids and lips) turned out for all of them. But I won't start refining them for a while 😩
Unicorn! I tried out including some of the gold paint I mixed into the background as well as the edge and I'm so glad I did! The colors needed to be subtle, but I wanted a little something extra to really make this piece pop! I'll post a video of the effect soon. It's so pretty!

The second of two Phobos-themed maps from before Ed embraced the graphical enhancements of (G)ZDoom. It doesn't have Romero's architectural flair but odd angles and subtle elevation changes abound.
The Broken piece was animated using cell animation on clip studio. Nothing over the top, just the smoke , fire and subtle sparks on the arm. Flashes of solid bckg colours.
