Now that the reboot is confirmed, I still think it kind of sucks that Lum’s hair was intended to be iridescent and changes constantly, but they couldn’t translate that well in the og so they just went with teal. It’s still iconic af, and I love new Lum, but god just imagine…

Looks like there's going to be an anime reboot of Urusei Yatsura coming next year with Hiroshi Kamiya voicing Ataru, and Sumire Uesaka voicing Lum.
