Some detail from my latest piece. Twitter compresses the images, so much detail is lost. Also fun to see how the eye creates detail from a scribble or texture.

The coloured versions are tests for the gradient map in Procreate.

Taking a page from JPEG and separating luma/chroma, reducing resolution, and reducing depth.

This image only takes up about 38% of the space in the sprite sheet. It's a start...
