A funny thing I've noticed about the Pokemon I'm now fond of: They're the evolved forms of very beloved Pokemon. A LOT of people like Pikachu. Sure, I do too, but I like Raichu a lot more. And Bulbasaur- Dex has an online encyclopedia named after it, but I prefer Ivysaur.💁‍♂️
