Fantastic to revisit Michael Mann’s “Heat” after so many years (via the new 4K release). Still such a tour de force of an adult thriller, it makes so many modern thrillers feel like baby pictures in comparison. The 3hr runtime feels earned with strands paying off in complexity.

Since the games came out the same year, the Shadow Androids from Shadow the Hedgehog (2005) basically show us what Shadow would look like if he was playable in Rush (Sonic's Rush model on the right for comparison)
