Fun fact, the original Sneasel sprite is actually almost a hue reversal of what would become the final sprite (Indigo's opposite is Brown aka dark yellow, while Red's opposite is Cyan)

Also the palette was the same on the beta sprite on the 99 Demo, which I feel was a leftover

interestingly, it looks like the GUI mockups for Persona 3's battle screen (found as leftovers in the game's files) contain mockups for not only Minato's final appearance, but his initial concept design as well. I wonder if they were made before his look was finalized.
