From 2D pixel art to 3D, KOF XV is the only game imo which did not lose its own identity from this transition. Please note that the SNK could have gone an easy money grab path for XVs art direction but instead they respected the KOF for what it is. The ultimate respect!!

I swear Excadrill SHRUNK in the transition and I don't even need to explain typhlosion.
There are pokemon out there that I think look nicer as a 3d model (Suicune is a good example imo, I always like its appearance in 3d) but a good handful of them feel like downgrades :(
