Painting glass can be really difficult. Try to start as simple as possible. Look at real world glass objects as reference. Or practice from! 5/8

So I tell people to practice a lot, always be drawing and you get better

This is why if you ever find yourself bored and unable to think of anything to draw, hold up your off hand and draw with your strongest hand! And mix it up, swap and do a weakest hand drawing.
