I am open to most art styles, in fact, chances are that I would not even notice any subtle differences between animators if I watched clips through each era. But early Dragon Ball earns a special mention! Everyone was so cute and cuddly back then.

Zima Blue was directed by Robert Valley () who is a ridiculously underappreciated luminary of contemporary animation. You prob already know his work from Aeon Flux and The Gorillaz, but he also does incredible personal projects. He's one of the best animators alive!

I would add a drawing like this to the design sheets as a reference so that the animators start drawing base Goku's hair with fun shapes again whenever it moves with the wind.

It still felt so "on-model" when he was fighting in the sky in the Broly movie, which is a shame.
