The original treatment is rough, naturally. One of the things that you see right away is that there's too much world building where the character descriptions should be. Because the character descriptions aren't clear, it's hard to get on board. Not to mention there's no logline.

[EFX] decided to paint the efx on the last phase, bcs I like it the most! I referenced Bo Chen's Sena Base Splash's efx because it is the exact effect treatment that I had in mind! Dark inky efx which assimilates with the body on its end and diminished into air on the other end
