Something I was working on for a while. My DnD character's mother, Vierstra. Hair was a bit complicated cuz it's somewhat translucent, like spiderwebs. Spiders are a motif with her cuz she's got heritage from the goddess Lloth.

Out of everyone, I'm surprised by how little Lotus' design changed throughout this process. I had such a distinct vision for his character since the beginning.

I always tried to bring him closer n closer into a modern sensibility, playing very carefully with masc n fem motifs.

so from a very plain blue Baro't saya (2015) , I decided to change it at make it fluffier in 2016. Why? bec. I want it to look more magical. something na mukhang hindi ma produce. i think I removed the butterfly motif here and made her pañuelo like wings covering her chest area.
