So from this part I knew I liked the face and the shy energy and I attempted to make a digital painting out of it. I kept with the shy attitude and face but bulked him up. To emphasis the merfolk idea I added scales and gave him a flowy skirt. The idea came from a beta fish!

This was the first year I attempted commissioning artwork for custom Christmas cards. Have to say I was very happy with how it turned out and look forward to attempting it again next year. Thank you for all your hard work in making this happen.
