Gradient background version because i couldn't decide which one i liked better
Base shadows done. Using a user-made brush for shading here and damn, it's pretty good. It allows me to make a nice gradient without using the blend tool.

I forgot to share the initial thumbnail sketches from my take on #LadyDimitrescu. Also the black/white values, wich then (using a gradient map) I quickly turn into color giving a more familiar Village palette.
